Intended purpose
The laryngeal mask is an effective means of establishing a safe airway when used in general anesthetic procedures.
Mask
Non-displacement, easy insertion and prevention of structural damage to human tissue.
One-way valve
Gas filling and draining before and after work.
Airway tube
Designed in lightweight medical grade PVC or Silicone for patient comfort.
Connector
Assure safety connection with filters and circuits.
Pilot balloon
Balloon fitted to an inflating tube to indicate inflation of the cuff.
Single Lumen
Features
Easy to use, rapid and easier to maintain the airway.
No laryngoscope is required, making LMA placement less difficult and more successful for the beginner.
Avoiding endotracheal mucosal damage. The airway is established for autonomous and controlled ventilation.
The position of the LMA, even if not ideal, can mostly maintain airway patency.
