On August 15, local time, Albert bourla, chief executive officer of Pfizer of the United States, tested positive for novel coronavirus. He said that the current symptoms were mild.
It is worth noting that the 60-year-old Albert has received four doses of covid-19 vaccine jointly produced by Pfizer and Germany BioNTech. On the 15th local time, Pfizer's official website released a statement that its chief executive officer Abel was tested positive for covid-19.
In 2020, Pfizer and BioNTech cooperated to develop the mRNA covid-19 vaccine. At the end of 2020, Pfizer's vaccine became the first covid-19 vaccine in the United States to be authorized by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency use.
